I posted here about Zach Anner before (CLICK IT! you can click here and watch them because they’re hilarious) but more recently got to watch some clips of him on the reality show to give somebody their own show. Zach Anner OWNed OWN. The other people were no match for his sincerity, wit, humor or good looks.
And he WON and I am so freaking happy for him. From TDW,
Happy Ending of the Day: On last night’s finale of the Oprah Winfrey Network’s Your OWN Show competition, Oprah herself announced that Internet superstar
Zach Anner had won, and would be getting his very OWN show on her network.
“I just got my own show from Oprah Winfrey. I don’t normally do back-flips, but I think I could do them,” Zach said afterwards. Explaining her decision, Oprah remarked: “Just being around Zach makes you want to be a better person.”
Of course, Oprah didn’t have much of a choice in selecting Zach, considering that not picking him would have triggered a mass riot.
Congrats Zach! No one has ever deserved anything more than you’ve deserved your own show.
The following clip clinched it, man, Oprah’s sitting there like a snooty whatever and Zach kills this interview – THEN, when she tries to leave, he says, “I have some questions for YOU!”
Ha ha! I’m so happy for him! Charming bastard! I can’t wait to see what he does with their budget. I’m pretty sure watching the clip is going to make me wanna cry tears of THRILLED!!
